aFe introduces the all new Takeda cat-back exhaust system for the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R with the L4-2.0L (t) engine. In testing, this system resulted in gains up to +19 horsepower and +20 lbs. x ft. of torque. This exhaust system is constructed of 1-3/4″, 2-1/2″, and 3″ diameter, mandrel bent, 304 stainless steel, brush finished tubing for increased flow and corrosion resistance. It is 100% hand TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. The exhaust system also incorporates dual free-flowing 304 stainless steel 14″ long mufflers, which improves performance across the power band while maintaining a great tone. To finish off this exhaust system, dual 4.5″ and a single 3.5″ Carbon Fiber tip provide an aggressive yet elegant sporty look. This system uses machined factory style flanges and hanger locations for a secure leak-free seal and hassle-free Install. No modifications necessary.

Carbon Fiber Tips:
This system features two 4.5″ and one 3.5″ double-wall carbon fiber exhaust tips. The single 3.5″ tip sits perfectly in-between the two 4.5″ tips, providing an aggressive yet elegant sporty look.

Mitered Merge Collector:
As exhaust gases flow through the system, a mitered collector splits the exhaust into three individual tubes. This decreases turbulence and increase exhaust velocity resulting in increased horsepower, torque and improved throttle response.

Aggressive Sound:
Dual polished, 304 stainless steel, free-flowing mufflers are used to absorb high pitch tones producing a powerful sound and unleashing all available horsepower and torque.

TIG-Welded:
100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for race proven strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds reducing stress cracks.

Brushed 304 SS Construction:
This cat-back is constructed of durable mandrel bent brushed 3″ 304 stainless steel tubing for maximum performance, corrosion resistance and strength eliminating cracking.

Hassle-Free Installation:
All hardware is included for a hassle-free installation. This unit comes with a 2-year warranty.

Perfect Fit:
OE-style bayonet hangers are used to maintain a stable pipe location during high vibration and high heat conditions. The Bayonet tip holds the hanger bushing in place for an OE style fit that does not change with time.
