These trunk spoilers are made using 100% 2×2 carbon fiber and then are professionally finished with a UV resistant clearcoat to ensure it stays looking great for years to come. Installation is very simple, it requires the use of 3M double sided tape (opt for it at checkout to receive all needed materials for installation). Please note if your car has an OEM painted spoiler it will first need to be removed before installing the new GTX trunk spoiler.
Installation
Professional installation is always recommended for RW Carbon’s products including this BMW G15 and F92 M8 GTX Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler. This trunk spoiler installs using 3M double sided tape (not included). Apply a generous amount to the backside of the spoiler, then press and hold into place.
It is easier if you have someone to help you line it up.
Please Note: If your car is ceramic coated, it will need to be buffed or polished off in the area that the trunk spoiler attaches prior to installing the spoiler. The 3M tape and promoter does not adhere properly when the car is ceramic coated.
