We’re proud to say we are running this exact Coilover Kit on our shop FK8 build! The factory FK8 Civic Type R has some of the best factory adjustable dampers available, and we weren’t going to just replace them with a budget coilover set and hope to sell in large volume to customers because they’re “cheap” – that’s not Unity’s way of doing things. Ohlins R&T are the only true answer for a coilover kit that will not only give you excellent ride height adjustment, but they will be MORE comfortable than factory Civic Type R dampers, and also have the ability to dial up even stiffer for track use than +R mode. The slimmer shock absorber bodies will also create room for extremely wide track wheels that are 10″ or more, and tires that are 285 width and more.

The hlins Road & Track suspension gives drivers a true racing experience without compromising comfort during daily commutes. The unique Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology allows drivers to quickly change the stiffness of the shock absorber. When arriving to the racetrack, turn the gold knob on the damper clockwise to set it in race mode. This action changes all four areas of the damper: high & low speed compression and high & low speed rebound.

The hlins EDC Cancellation Kit for Road & Track deactivates dash lights and error codeswhen electronically adjustable OEM suspension is replaced by a mechanical system. The cancellation kit is plugged into the original suspension controls. No further programming is needed.
